A pitcher is a container with a spout used for storing and pouring liquids

A jug is any container with a handle and a mouth and spout for liquid

A ewer is an older word for pitchers or jugs of any type, though tending to be used for a vase-shaped pitcher.

A bowl is a round dish or container typically used to prepare and serve food. The interior of a bowl is characteristically shaped like a spherical cap, with the edges and the bottom forming a seamless curve.

Vases generally share a similar shape. The body forms the main portion of the piece. Some vases have a shoulder, where the body curves inward, a neck, which gives height, and a lip, where the vase flares back out at the top. Some vases are also given handles.
