They had four children - 1st. son Andrew and daughter Martha stayed in Ireland.

At the age of 26 years Robert emigrates to Auckland, New Zealand. (Mary from Rosecerea, county Tipperary - also came to NZ 1862.) Robert died at the age of 35 (Diarrhea) RIP St. Stephens, Symonds St. Auckland.
